This antique Chinese stacking cabinet is arranged by stacking three separate travelling chests onto each other. All three chests have gilt black oval on the front panels painted with people and scenery. The effect is beautiful and very functional.

The top cabinet has two doors it is carved and gilded. The scene depicts a man and woman in a garden setting. The two middle sections have doors that open downwards and come off, they are carved and gilded with mounting scenes. The bottom section has two doors with carvings and inside a removable shelf. Brass hardware.
