Under Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. However, you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This includes when the item: has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it; is unsafe; or is significantly different from the image or description on our website. If you receive an item that’s been damaged during shipping you must inform us within 7 days by email to carol @admiraltyantiques.com.au or call 61 2 96480033 during business hours AEST 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday. We will need photographs showing the condition of the piece when it arrived including packaging and the damaged areas. We will discuss with you options for repair, replacement or refund. If you wish to exchange an item for reasons other than those stated above you: must notify us within 14 days; will be responsible for return shipping and handling fees. The item(s) must be returned in the original condition in which they were sent. Please carefully package the item in the original packaging along with your receipt. We recommend you use the same shipping service that delivered the item to you; will receive a refund less the cost of shipping the item to you. The refund will be applied to the good(s) you are purchasing in exchange for the returned good(s). You will be responsible for additional charges including outstanding cost of goods and shipping. If you are in credit this will only be paid into your nominated bank account by bank transfer. Please note We do not offer exchanges or refunds where you have changed your mind or for international orders. The photographs on our website reproduce colours as accurately as possible. Sometimes there may be slight variation to what you see due to computer picture resolution and individual monitor settings. These variations are not considered a fault warranting exchange or refund.
