An antique Chinese altar table is perfect for a classic and shallow compact table for a hallway or living area This restored oriental antique has been finished in a lightly Brown lacquer. It originated c.1880 in the province of Gansu.
Such classic lines and recognisable shape, this traditional Asian table is extremely elegant, and being shallow is easy to place in a narrow hallway or landing. It would also be a very pretty sofa table dressed with a vase of fresh flowers or grouped photo frames.
