The cabinet originates from the Shanxi province which means "West of the Mountains" which extended beyond the Great Wall and dates back to Qing/Ming Dynasty
The buffet features three sets of double doors and six drawers to reveal two shelves with storage capacity. It was painted black sideboard top and sides. The front was also painted in black but had fainted that the wood grain came out. The six door panels were painte with red and yellow scene. It also covered in layers of thick lacquer to provide additional protection from wear with mortise and tenon joinery. Lots of character on the antique piece with a story to tell.
Ideal for someone looking for a statement piece filled with art and history or just someone looking to make a collection complete in their home or office, as server or entertainment centre.
