Unique beautiful Chinese antique lacquered wood plate, with hand painted Landscaper on black and red background.  It has a wonderful hand rubbed lacquer patina that was achieved by multiple layers and fine sanding in between lacquer coats.

Worn paint and great patina with floral painted design in red and yellow and green with Chinese calligraphy writing.

Well-constructed and still strong and useful. They have a wonderful simplicity about them. These trays are still in use today in rural China.
