Circa: 1900s

The cabinet originates from the Shanxi province which means "West of the Mountains" which extended beyond the Great Wall and dates back to Qing/Ming Dynasty

This buffet features BLUE frame, top and sides. The two doors and three drawers were painted in deep red with Chinese artwork on them. Then it wsa covered in layers of thick lacquer to provide additional protection from wear with mortise and tenon joinery. Lots of character on the vintage piece with a story to tell.

Ideal for someone looking for a statement piece filled with art and history or just someone looking to make a collection complete in their home or office, as server or entertainment centre
