Unique beautiful Chinese antique lacquered wood plate, with hand painted Flower on red background.  It has a wonderful hand rubbed lacquer patina that was achieved by multiple layers and fine sanding in between lacquer coats.  

Worn paint and great patina with floral painted design in red and yellow and green with Chinese calligraphy writing.

Well-constructed and still strong and useful.  They have a wonderful simplicity about them. These trays are still in use today in rural China.

Great Chinese provincial accent folk art with well-worn patina wood tray could be use in any room, modern or traditional.
