Traditionally the Chinese wedding cabinet was a Chinese girl's 'bottom drawer'. A wedding cabinet was filled over the years with oriental silks and linens, then presented to the groom on the eve of the wedding. The circular brass 'Togetherness Panel' with the sliding key, is a traditional Chinese design; symbolising the joining of two halves for one love, come with four Chinese characters meaning three riches and five lucks etch writing on the front door panes.
